The CHALLENGECAPETOWN 6km Family Fun Run is part of the CHALLENGECAPETOWN Festival, which also includes an open water swim race in Big Bay on 9 November, and the City’s first middle distance triathlon on 10 November.
Fun Run participants will run along the triathlon route, and may even have the chance to rub shoulders with some of the world’s best triathletes as they complete their 21km run!
The Run is the last leg of the #ChallengeCapeTown which is a 21km loop in Zonnebloem / District Six Precinct, passing the Castle of Good Hope. I have attached the route and medal.
The CHALLENGECAPETOWN Family Fun Run promises fun for the whole family! All finishers will receive a medal, and there will be plenty to see and do at the finish.
Hang out in the Finish Village after your run to welcome the triathletes home, or take a stroll back and cheer these athletes on as they complete the last leg of their race.
The #FunRun which will also take place along the triathlon Run route from 7h45 the morning.
The school / team / club with the most entries will have ‘Bragging Rights’ and have a photo taken with the winners of #ChallengeCapeTown!
This is a perfect opportunity for ‘fun runners and walkers’ to rub shoulders with elite triathletes. So whether you are a triathlete or not, you can still be a part of all the Race Day action – and rub shoulders with some of the world’s best triathletes – on 10 November by participating in the CHALLENGECAPETOWN Family Fun Run!
